FAQ
Quick answers about WxCareers.
Is there one site with meteorology jobs from every sector?
That's what WxCareers is for. Most boards cover one slice: USAJOBS is federal only, broadcast boards are TV only. WxCareers lists TV, government, private, aviation, military, and academic jobs together.
Is WxCareers legit?
Yes. It's free for job seekers and never asks you to pay. You apply on the employer's own site.
Where do I find entry-level jobs?
Filter by sector, or search for titles like "meteorologist intern" or "GS-5/7". Small-market TV and NWS openings are common first jobs.
How often is it updated?
Daily.
